uClinux
low level access to Flash memory via JTAG is now doable
While this device originally ran Linux, and was intended to be a lightweight portable e-Mail messenger, hackers quickly turned it into a little uClinux device. How much it can do isn’t highly covered, but the creators of this device encouraged hacking of it.
